Coaching your first season of sport can be a daunting task. There is so much to learn, so many new little intricacies to master. Nevertheless, you just want to make a good impression. But, with so many new things to learn and understand, mistakes are inevitable.
Whilst mistakes are a great way to learn, no one wants to make mistakes. Coaches would much prefer to start their coaching career with a perfect season. But, many wise heads suggest that you need to fail before you can succeed.
I say, screw that, instead of learning from our own mistakes, let’s learn from someone else’s. That way, we can skip the failing part and get straight to the success.
